Uwajimaya Stir-Fry Vegetables

Ingredients

1 – Uwajimaya Yasai Itame Vegetable Mix

6 oz – Thinly sliced protein (pork, chicken, beef, tofu, or shrimp)

2 tsp – Soy Sauce

1 tsp – Sake or other cooking wine

Stir Fry Sauce:

1 tbsp – Oyster Sauce (or vegetarian stir-fry sauce)

1 tbsp – Soy Sauce

1 tbsp – Sugar

1 tbsp – Sesame Oil

2 oz – Cooking Oil

To Taste – Salt & Pepper

Preparation
1. Mince garlic and thinly slice ginger. Combine stir-fry sauce ingredients and mix well.
2. Thinly slice protein and season with salt and pepper.
3. In a wok or large skillet, heat cooking oil over high heat, until shimmering.
4. Add the onions, ginger and protein and stir-fry until protein is no longer pink and onions are starting to sear.
5. Add garlic, cabbage, peppers, and carrots. Continue to stir-fry until tender.
6. Add snap peas and stir-fry until just turned bright green.
7. Add stir fry sauce and toss to combine. Cook for two more minutes then remove from heat.

8. Garnish with green onions if desired. Serve with steamed rice.
