Since 1928, Uwajimaya has been more than just a grocery store—it’s been a part of the Pacific Northwest community. From our founder, Fujimatsu Moriguchi, serving fishcakes from the back of his truck in Tacoma, WA, we’ve grown into the largest locally and family-owned Asian grocery retailer in the Pacific Northwest.
