Tempura Dipping Sauce

A sauce for dipping tempura batter-fried seafood and vegetables


2 cups dashi (Japanese stock) or chicken broth
1 Tablespoon soy sauce
1 Tablespoon mirin (sweet rice wine for cooking)


In a small saucepan, bring dashi, soy sauce and mirin to a boil.  Turn off heat and let cool.  Serve alongside your favorite tempura seafood or vegetables.
