Bulgogi (Korean Barbecued Beef)

Ingredients

1 lb. beef steak or sukiyaki beef, thinly sliced

Marinade
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. garlic, minced
1 tsp. ginger root, minced
1 Tbsp. sesame seed oil
1/2 tsp. toasted sesame seeds,ground
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

Preparation

Combine all of the marinade ingredients and mix well.  Add beef to marinade, cover and allow to marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Cook meat over charcoal until done. Meat can also be grilled, microwaved or broiled.
