Cashier - Part Time

Cashier’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service and product information to our customers. He/she is responsible for ringing up customers’ purchases accurately and efficiently. Cashier is also responsible for stocking small items around the registers and familiarizing with basic knowledge of store layout and products’ prices.

  • Must have good command of English, excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have good math skills and 10-key skills required.
  • Ability to operate register and scanning machine preferred.
  • Ability to acquire good overall store, product and general pricing knowledge.
  • Must be able to work at least one or both weekend days.

Deli Cook - Full Time

The Deli Cook’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to our customers.  Deli Cook’s responsibilities include: prepare ingredients for daily productions in Deli, occasionally cook special items as needed, ensure that quality food items are available for Deli sale and arrange attractive displays of food items. He/she will help control inventory and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and back room while following company’s safety standards.

Gift Clerk - Full Time

Gift Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patrons. It is his/her responsibility to provide products’ information and to promote gift items to our customers. Assist customers in selecting the appropriated products for their needs. Gift clerk will assist the Gift Manager in controlling inventory and suggestions for ordering selections. He/she is responsible for stocking, facing, pricing, displaying and maintaining the overall look of the department while following company’s safety standards.

Meat Cutter - Journeyman - Full Time

Meat Cutter is responsible for preparing traditional and specialty cuts of meat products to our customers.  He/she will provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers and provide them with information on special cuts of meat, recipes and menu suggestions, portion recommendation and cooking techniques.  He/she will insure proper quantities of items are received against invoice/packing slip and/or order sheet, and rotate stock in the cooler. He/she will follow meat department’s and safety precautions and procedures to ensure a safe work place environment.

Office Clerk - Full Time

The Office Clerk's responsibility is to provide excellent service to our customers, employees, managers, vendors and Corporate personnel. He/she is responsible for various ongoing office duties such as coding invoices, ordering office, store, equipment and store supplies, and assists with office projects. Assistant Deli Manager - Full Time

The Assistant Deli Manager's responsibility is to assist the Deli Manager’s in managing the Deli department by ensuring that the Deli team is trained in all aspects of their job, including food preparation, customer service and safety. Operations Supevisor - Full Time

Operations Supervisor's responsibility is to provide customer service and product information to our customers. He/she is responsible for ringing up customers’ purchases accurately and efficiently. Familiarize with basic knowledge of store layout and products’ prices. Deli Cook - Full Time

Meat Wrapper - Part Time

Meat Wrapper is responsible for wrapping and pricingmeat products.  Ensure products in tray meet manager’s specifications for size and appearance. Ensure labels have correct prices and product descriptions. Constantly check the display areas to ensure they are stocked with fresh products and communicate with meat cutters when display inventory is low.  Prepare merchandise for the following days according to the department standards. Monitor wrapping supplies to ensure adequate stock of items. Maintain cleanliness of display and working areas. Answer customer questions regarding menu suggestions, portions, and cooking techniques. Have a thorough knowledge of safety procedures and precautions required.

  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds, standing, bending, working in cooler.
  • Able to learn to identify all meat and related merchandise.
  • Retail experience helpful.
  • Ability to use pricing machines and pricing guns.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to the team as a whole.

Crew Member - Part Time

Maintenance Specialist II - Full Time

The Maintenance Specialist II responsibility is to repair various equipments and machineries as requested by the Branch Managers, such as: live tanks, coolers/refrigerators, freezers, ranges, telephones, etc…. He/she is responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in overseeing, maintaining, and conduct price comparison of supplies from different vendors. He/she will also assist in purchasing and picking up supplies.

• Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions required by WISHA regulations, a must.

• Ability to uses tools of the trade in addition to wood working tools.

• Must be physically capable of using the stairs and ladders.
• Must be proactive, a self starter, and have good work ethics.

Distribution Clerk - Part Time - Graveyard & Day shift

Note: This job is based out of the Uwajimaya corporate office.

The Distribution Clerk’s responsibility is to prepare shipments for local delivery or common carrier. He/she is responsible for checking incoming merchandise, loading and unloading trucks, stocking products in the warehouse and inspecting equipments for safety while following company’s safety procedures.

•Must be 21 years old or older, have a clean driving record and able to drive a 16-24 box truck
•Must possess good command of English, good customer service and communication skills.
•Must be certified to operate a forklift and rider/pallet jack.
•Must be skilled in basic math.
•Able to lift up to 75 to 100 pounds.
•Must be able to read and follow maps.
•Must be able to work graveyard hours
