Cashier - Full Time

Cashier’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service and product information to our customers. He/she is responsible for ringing up customers’ purchases accurately and efficiently. Cashier is also responsible for stocking small items around the registers and familiarizing with basic knowledge of store layout and products’ prices.

  • Must have good command of English, excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have good math skills and 10-key skills required.
  • Ability to operate register and scanning machine preferred.
  • Ability to acquire good overall store, product and general pricing knowledge.
  • Must be able to work at least one or both weekend days.

Deli Clerk - Full Time

Deli Clerk’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to our customers. He/she will be replenishing food on the steam table and ensuring that the food items are fresh and appetizing.  Deli Clerk will assist customers with their food order and answer customers’ questions.  In addition, he/she will be responsible for cashiering, stocking and overall upkeep of deli area and assisting the kitchen and deli cooks as needed.

Deli Cook - Full Time

The Deli Cook’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to our customers.  Deli Cook’s responsibilities include: prepare ingredients for daily productions in Deli, occasionally cook special items as needed, ensure that quality food items are available for Deli sale and arrange attractive displays of food items. Grocery Clerk - Full Time

Grocery Clerk’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service, face, stock, re-stock and price grocery merchandises. Ensure the correct price/product description tag is in line with the merchandise. Maintain displays, order selected items when needed and receive incoming merchandise. Assist with bagging the groceries and help customers carry their groceries to their vehicle when requested.

Meat Wrapper - Full Time

Meat Wrapper is responsible for wrapping and pricingmeat products.  Ensure products in tray meet manager’s specifications for size and appearance. Ensure labels have correct prices and product descriptions. Constantly check the display areas to ensure they are stocked with fresh products and communicate with meat cutters when display inventory is low.  Prepare merchandise for the following days according to the department standards. Monitor wrapping supplies to ensure adequate stock of items. Maintain cleanliness of display and working areas. Answer customer questions regarding menu suggestions, portions, and cooking techniques. Have a thorough knowledge of safety procedures and precautions required.

  • Excellent customer service

Kai Market
Cook I - Full Time

Cook I’s responsibility is to prepare all food items to be cooked including cutting vegetable and meats, prepare & assemble food items such as bento, salads, sandwiches and sushi. Ensure that all food items are fresh and of the highest quality for sale and prepared foods are attractively displayed. Assist and fulfill customers’ phone orders, online orders and operate the cash register. Assist with control inventory and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen/back room while following company’s safety standards.

Crew Member - Part Time

Crew Member’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service and product information to our customers. He/she is responsible for ringing up customers’ purchases accurately and efficiently. Head Cook - Full Time

 The Head Cook is responsible for the overall production of the kitchen. He/she will lead, train, delegate, direct and monitor employees’ activities/productivities and ensure company standards are met. He/she will assist with the creation and planning of menu items, weekly specials and promotions. Develop and implement new food items to increase sales. Maintenance Specialist II - Full Time

The Maintenance Specialist II responsibility is to repair various equipments and machineries as requested by the Branch Managers, such as: live tanks, coolers/refrigerators, freezers, ranges, telephones, etc…. The Distribution Clerk’s responsibility is to prepare shipments for local delivery or common carrier.
