Operations Supevisor - Full Time

Operations Supervisor's responsibility is to provide customer service and product information to our customers. He/she is responsible for ringing up customers’ purchases accurately and efficiently. Familiarize with basic knowledge of store layout and products’ prices. Bookkeeper/Cashier also responsible for basic accounting bookkeeping such as counting monies, prepare daily sales/cash recaps, and preparing cash bundles for cashier. Input monetary records in the computer using ISS45 and AS400 software.

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic math and 10-key skills required.
  • Ability to become familiar with store merchandise and basic uses of products.
  • Ability to operate NCR register and scanning machine preferred.
  • Must have flexible schedule.

Cook I - Full Time

Cook I’s responsibility is to prepare all food items to be cooked including cutting vegetable and meats, prepare & assemble food items such as bento, salads, sandwiches and sushi. Ensure that all food items are fresh and of the highest quality for sale and prepared foods are attractively displayed. Assist and fulfill customers’ phone orders, online orders and operate the cash register. Assist with control inventory and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen/back room while following company’s safety standards.

• Excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills
• Prior cooking experience preferred, knowledge of Asian cooking, a plus.
• Ability to manage own time to meet productions deadlines.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of basic math skills, and able to operate a cash register.

• Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Fishmongers I - Full Time

Fishmonger I’s responsibility is to prepare (cut, clean and wrap) seafood for the display showcase and cutting seafood per customer requests. He/she will check seafood quality to ensure freshness, good presentation and adequate stock levels throughout the day. He/she will assist with selecting and ordering seafood products. Receive and ensure that products are stored in proper locations. In addition, he/she will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the premises and organization of the freezer & cooler while following company, state and county safety standards.

• Excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• At least 1 year retail seafood experience preferred.
• Prior retail experience and Asian products preferred.
• Ability to work independently and has the ability to multi-task.
• Must have flexible schedule
• Able to frequently lift up to 50lbs and occasionally lift up to 100lbs.

Head Cook - Full Time

 The Head Cook is responsible for the overall production of the kitchen. He/she will lead, train, delegate, direct and monitor employees’ activities/productivities and ensure company standards are met. He/she will assist with the creation and planning of menu items, weekly specials and promotions. Develop and implement new food items to increase sales. Responsible for cooking and overseeing the quality, taste and presentation of all the food cooked, displayed and served to the customers. Ensure all food items are tagged, logged and priced accurately. Responsible for inventory levels and work with approved vendors and wholesalers to purchase necessary food items and supplies for the department at the best price. Oversee and minimize shrinkage costs of food items. Ensure the kitchen is in compliance with the company, state and county health & food safety standards.

• Excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum of 3 years prior cooking experienced preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to manage own time to meet production deadlines.
• Able to control costs by minimizing waste.
• Basic math skills and proficient in Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Must have flexible schedules.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
