Leche Flan - Dessert

Ingredients:

1 Dozen egg yolks
1 can condensed milk
1 pint Vit D milk

1 pint of diary creamer
1 tablespoon vanilla

 

Caramelize Sugar

1 cup sugar
1 cup water

Preparation:

Makes 4 servings

Blend all ingredients in a blender. Pour mixture into a tin pan lined with caramelized sugar. The mixture should not be poured past 1 1/2" in the tin pan. Cover with aluminum foil. Place tin in a larger baking pan half-filled with water. Place pan in pre-heated oven (375 F) and bake flan for about 1 hour or until it is firm.

Either let stand for 2-3 hours or refrigerate for 2 hours.

 

Caramelized Sugar:

Put sugar and water in a saucepan. Stir on high heat until caramelized. Line loaf tin with caramelized sugar. Be sure to line the sides of the pan.
