Spicy Bean Curd with Ground Pork

Ingredients:

1 - 16 oz. cube of bean curd ( tofu)

1 tbsp. oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 cup ground pork

2 tsp. hot bean paste

(or to taste)

1 tbsp. soy sauce

1/4 tsp. salt

3/4 cup soup stock

1 green onion, chopped

1 tsp. sesame oil

cornstarch and water to thicken

Preparation:

Serves 4

Cut bean curd into 1/2" cubes. Set aside. Heat wok, add oil, garlic and ground pork. Stir fry pork on high heat until done (2 minutes). Add hot bean paste, soy sauce, salt, soup stock and bean curd. Cover, bring to a boil and cook gently for 2 minutes. Thicken with cornstarch mixture to desired thickness. Add green onion and sesame seed oil. Mix gently to combine all ingredients.
