Almond Float

Ingredients:

1 envelope gelatin (such as Knox)

1 cup water

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup milk

1-2 tsp. almond extract

 

Variation:

1 envelope gelatin

1-3/4 cup water

1/4 cup condensed milk

1-2 tsp. almond extract

Preparation:

 

Heat gelatin in water until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in sugar. Add milk and almond extract, stir well. (Note: if using condensed milk, do not add sugar.) Pour into 8" pan, chill overnight. Cut into cubes. Serve with fruits.

 

Suggested fruits: Lychee with syrup, fruit cocktail with syrup, or mandarin oranges.
