1 pkg fresh yakisoba noodles

¼ lb beef, thinly sliced (can also use chicken, pork, or prawns)

1 cup garlic spears, sliced (Optional)

2 cups green cabbage, chopped

1 cup yellow onion, sliced

1 Tablespoon carrots, chopped

1 Tablespoon cooking sake

1 Tablespoon vegetable oil

Garnish: (Optional)

1 teaspoon kizami shoga (pickled ginger)

1 teaspoon green onion, minced


In a large pan, heat oil on medium high heat. Add beef until surface is brown. Remove from heat and set aside in a separate bowl.

Add onions, cabbage, carrots and garlic spears to the pan and cook for two minutes or until surface is slightly brown. 

Add noodles and beef to the pan, mix into vegetables. 

Deglaze the surface of the pan with cooking sake.  Add the seasoning package included with the noodles. 

Garnish with ginger and green onion and serve. (Optional)
