Deli Clerk - Full Time

Deli Clerk’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to our customers. He/she will be replenishing food on the steam table and ensuring that the food items are fresh and appetizing.  Deli Clerk will assist customers with their food order and answer customers’ questions.  In addition, he/she will be responsible for cashiering, stocking and overall upkeep of deli area and assisting the kitchen and deli cooks as needed.

  • Must have good command of English, excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have knowledge of Deli products and Asian merchandise, beneficial.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Ability to operate cash register.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to the team as a whole.
  • Possess good oral communication (bilingual helpful) and a positive attitude.

Deli Cook - Full Time

The Deli Cook’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to our customers.  Deli Cook’s responsibilities include: prepare ingredients for daily productions in Deli, occasionally cook special items as needed, ensure that quality food items are available for Deli sale and arrange attractive displays of food items. He/she will help control inventory and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and back room while following company’s safety standards.

  • Must have good command of English, excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Prior knowledge of food production and operation of commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Must have excellent knowledge and skill of Chinese and Japanese cooking.

Gift Clerk - Part Time

Gift Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patrons. It is his/her responsibility to provide products’ information and to promote gift items to our customers. Assist customers in selecting the appropriated products for their needs. Gift clerk will assist the Gift Manager in controlling inventory and suggestions for ordering selections. He/she is responsible for stocking, facing, pricing, displaying and maintaining the overall look of the department while following company’s safety standards.Excellent customer service.
 

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good merchandising skills preferred.
  • Exhibits a positive attitude in the workplace, seeks resolution to problems.
  • Basic math, 10-key skills required.
  • Ability to handle and lift approximately 20 to 30 pounds.

Grocery Night Clerk - Full Time

Stock, restock and price grocery merchandise, maintain displays, order selected items, provide good customer service, receive and check incoming merchandise. Maintain inventory.

  • Must have good command of English, excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Must be physically fit to be able to lift 80 lbs. and over, bag and carry groceries, receive and stock products, clean areas, etc.

Seafood Clerk - Full Time

Seafood Clerk’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to our customers. He/she is responsible for preparing (cut, clean and wrap) seafood for the display showcase and cutting seafood per customer requests. In addition, he/she will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the premises, receive and repack incoming freight and maintain organization of the freezer while following safety procedures.

  • Ability to prepare fish for wrapping and display; clean, cut, filet fish in such a manner as to avoid waste.
  • Must have good command of English, excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must possess a good knowledge of seafood products and Asian cooking techniques.
  • Must be physically fit to be able to lift 100 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to operate pricing machines and pricing guns.
  • Ability to acquire good overall store and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to work at least one or both weekend days.
  • Possess good oral communication skills (bilingual helpful), and a positive attitude.
