Assistant Deli Manager - Full Time

The Assistant Deli Manager's responsibility is to assist the Deli Manager’s in managing the Deli department by ensuring that the Deli team is trained in all aspects of their job, including food preparation, customer service and safety. He/she will assist in establishing goals and create an effective, efficient deli operation by providing leadership and direction through open communication, coaching, training and promoting a positive work environment. He/she will coordinate the production and sales of the deli products and ensure quality of standards, product movement and gross profit achievement. He/she will ensure that company’s polices/procedures, especially safety/sanitation, are understood and followed.

• Excellent customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years Deli / Restaurant managerial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products and Asian culinary skills a plus.
• Knowledge of purchasing, marketing and merchandising, preferred.
• Basic math and 10-key required.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must have flexible schedules.

Cashier - Part Time

Cashier’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service and product information to our customers. He/she is responsible for ringing up customers’ purchases accurately and efficiently. Cashier is also responsible for stocking small items around the registers and familiarizing with basic knowledge of store layout and products’ prices.

  • Must have good command of English, excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must have good math skills and 10-key skills required.
  • Ability to operate register and scanning machine preferred.
  • Ability to acquire good overall store, product and general pricing knowledge.
  • Must be able to work at least one or both weekend days.
  • Ability to become familiar with store merchandise and basic uses of products.

Seafood Manager - Full Time

The Seafood Manager’s responsibilities are to manage the Seafood department by ensuring that the Seafood team is trained in all aspects of their job, including preparation of products, customer service and safety. He/she will establish goals and create an effective, efficient seafood operation by providing leadership and direction through open communication, coaching, training and promoting a positive work environment. He/she will coordinate the production and sales of the seafood products and ensure quality of standards, product movement and gross profit achievement. He/she will ensure that all seafood products meet the company's guidelines as well as federal, state and county regulations and standards.

• Minimum of 3 year management experience.
• Knowledge of seafood and seafood cutting experience required.
• Able to work flexible days, opening and closing shifts required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior retail experience required and knowledge of Asian products preferred.
• Knowledge of purchasing, marketing and merchandising required.
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up 35-50lbs and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.

Seafood Clerk - Full Time

Seafood Clerk’s responsibility is to provide excellent customer service to our customers. He/she is responsible for preparing (cut, clean and wrap) seafood for the display showcase and cutting seafood per customer requests. In addition, he/she will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the premises, receive and repack incoming freight and maintain organization of the freezer while following safety procedures.

  • Ability to prepare fish for wrapping and display; clean, cut, filet fish in such a manner as to avoid waste.
  • Must have good command of English, excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must possess a good knowledge of seafood products and Asian cooking techniques.
  • Must be physically fit to be able to lift 100 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to operate pricing machines and pricing guns.
  • Ability to acquire good overall store and product knowledge.
  • Must be able to work at least one or both weekend days.
  • Possess good oral communication skills (bilingual helpful), and a positive attitude.
